They have a special program of the Madison Square Park Music series this week for the 4th of July, with 3 bands playing. It starts at 3pm with Spuyten Duyvil playing American Roots music. Then at 4pm it’s The Sweetback Sisters with some “country, swing and honky tonk”, and finally at 5pm it will be Noam Pikelny and Friends jamming Americana on the banjo.

It’s part of a FREE music series hosted by the Madison Square Park Conservancy and it takes place on the Oval Lawn in Madison Square Park on Wednesdays in the summer. This is the 10th season of the program! We posted the full calendar at www.madparknews.com/art_and_music/madison-square-park-music-calendar-2012/.

Also, Fatty Crew will be selling Ribs, Fatty Wedges, beer and more in the park.
