The Madison Square Park art installation Red, Yellow and Blue, by Orly Genger is coming down today. Love them or hate them, the 3 installations in the park used 1.4 million feet of painted rope (found along the Eastern oceans and waterways) to create 3 unique colorful spaces this summer.
The next art installation in Madison Square Park will be three 40-foot bronze tree sculptures by Italian artist Giuseppe Penone. The installation will go up September 26th, 2013, and run through February 9, 2014.
