After one of the top 3 highest box office opening weekends ever, The Hunger Games continues to roll on the big screen with a massive following of people who loved the page-turning book of the same name. The premise in a nutshell is a dismal future where each district must send 2 of their children to fight to the death against other children from other districts as a reminder of why the people should not revolt against the capitol while everyone watches on tv. The ‘Games’ do not end until there is one kid left alive. If you haven’t read the The Hunger Games book, you could probably finish it in a few days as it does move quickly. (It’s even free on Kindle through Amazon Prime)

But for those ready to see the new movie, it’s playing within walking distance of the Flatiron and Madison Square Park neighborhoods.
