Sometimes called Manhattanhenge, or the Manhattan Solstice, there are a few weeks each year when the sunset lines up so that it sets EXACTLY right between the east-west streets in Manhattan, giving us a view of the sunset right at the end of the westward streets. It’s an awesome moment to capture, so if you get a good shot of the phenomenon in the neighborhood (tell us where it was), send it in to and we will publish it and give credit to you.
