The Madison Square Music Oval Lawn series may be over, but the Madison Square Park music Studio Series starts up in September, and here is the scheduled line-up:

Saturday, September 17th at 12:30-6:30pm: Bluegrass in the Park featuring the Nashville Bluegrass Band, Valerie Smith & Liberty Pike, Cherryholmes Brothers, Della Mae, and Donna Hughes (country influenced singer-songwriter)

Saturday, September 24th at 3pm: Jay Ungar & Molly Mason (American roots/folk/fiddle) and 3 Penny Acre

Saturday, October 1st at 3pm: John Hammond (acoustic blues from a legend) & Suzie Vinnick (blues, folk-roots)

Saturday, October 8th at 3pm: Nora Jane Struthers (classic Americana) and Jean Rohe Trio

It’s all free and put on by the Madison Square Park Conservancy with support from The Baisley Powell Elebash Fund, Kew Management, Zwicker Electric Co., Danley Sound Labs, WFUV 90.7FM, SIA Acoustics, and ACE Hotel New York.
