Madison Square Music series announced for 2011 summer

The annual Madison Square Park Music series was just announced and we have listed the line-up below. It’s a free series hosted by the Madison Square Park Conservancy and it takes place on the Oval Lawn in Madison Square Park on Wednesday evenings.
- June 22 (7-8pm): Tift Merritt (singer songwriter)
- June 29 (6-8pm): Dale Ann Bradley (Country/Bluegrass), The Steel Wheels (Americana)
- July 6 (6-8pm): Lionel Loueke Trio (West-African influenced jazz), Edmar Castaneda Trio (Columbian-influenced jazz on the harp) plus special guest Andrea Tierra
- July 13 (7-8pm): Christian McBride & Inside Straight(Jazz)
- July 20 (7-8pm): Red Horse with Eliza Gilkyson, John Gorka, and Lucy Kaplansky (Country/Folk singer-songwriter)
- July 27 (7-8pm): David Wax Museum (Mexo-Americana fusion)
- August 3 (6-8pm):Pedrito Martinez Group plus special guest Brian Lynch (Cuban Soulful jazz)
- August 10 Special Guest
