Flatiron startup Crowdnetic (37 W. 17th St.) has just announced seed funding from Perot Jain, LP, the firm backed by Ross Perot Jr and Anurag Jain.

Crowdnetic provides data and info solutions to the global crowdfinance space, and has two primary products, Lendvious (‘comprehensive marketplace for peer finance borrowers and investors, provides the powerful tools and detailed information needed to make informed peer finance decisions’.) and CrowdWatch (‘aggregates and normalizes issuer information for thousands of private companies publicly raising capital (“PIPRs”) and provides easy access to analyze, compare and research PIPRs and securities-based real estate crowdfunding investments’.)

Crowdfunding has rapidly grown from simple peer-to-peer lending to become a complex global phenomenon, and Crowdnetic brings essential transparency and stability to the marketplace,” said Perot Jr. “

Crowdnetic was founded in 2011 by Luan Cox and Srikanth Goteti.
