We all know the Flatiron District historically was, and currently is, one of the hubs of book publishing in the world. One such building is 36 East 22nd Street, in the heart of the Flatiron between Park Avenue South and Broadway. The address was the US home of British publishing house Frederick Warne and Company, best known as the publisher of 23 Beatrix Potter children’s books (including The Tale of Peter Rabbit in 1902, and 22 others). The publishing house was acquired by Penguin in 1983, and more recently the building has been converted to 8 beautiful full floor condo residences.

The residences are all now on the market, and you can check them out out both at http://thestoryhousenyc.com or in person this Sunday at an open house from 1-3pm at 36 East 22nd Street.
