Baruch gets pedestrian plaza on 25th Street

Baruch College just got a new pedestrian plaza on 25th Street between Lexington Avenue and 3rd Avenue. The stretch will be closed to cars and features tables, umbrellas and plans, much like we have in the Flatiron plaza off Broadway.

Water main breaks in the Flatiron; N Q R subways down

water main break flatironWe get word that a water main has broken in the Flatiron at 23rd Street and Broadway, and the NQR subways are down throughout most of Manhattan because of it. There is quite a bit of flooding around Eataly to Madison Square Park.
