Rating: 0.0/5 (0 votes cast) has a deal available now for your 7-11 year old kids at creative writing workshops by Pencil Heads. Buy the deal for $40 and your kid can attend one of the upcoming “Silly Saturday” 2-hour workshops (normally $80). And it’s held right hear in the Madison Square Park neighborhood at the Baruch Performing Arts Center (55 Lexington Ave. at 26th Street).

If you have (or know) an imaginative 7-11 year old who could be a future screenwriter, novelist, or just wants to spend more time on creative writing, this is a great way to nurture their imagination (and to get their writing skills ahead of other kids in school).

The workshop is taught by Andrea Scully, who has written several episodes of the PBS show Super Why, an episode of the upcoming PBS show Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, and sold a screenplay to Walt Disney Studios. (And the Pencil Head kids even got to write lunch reviews for the New York Post last year!)
