There is another Pencil Heads creative writing for kids workshop this Saturday from noon-2pm in the Madison Square Park neighborhood at the Baruch Performing Arts Center (55 Lexington Ave. at 26th Street). Read more at www.pencilheads.com.

Word is that this Saturday it’s 2 for 1, so pay for one spot and your kid can bring a friend or sibling for free!

If you have (or know) an imaginative 7-11 year, this is a great way to nurture their imagination (and to get their creative writing skills ahead of other kids in school).

The workshop is taught by Andrea Scully, who has written several episodes of the PBS show Super Why, an episode of the upcoming PBS show Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, and sold a screenplay to Walt Disney Studios. (And the Pencil Head kids even got to write lunch reviews for the New York Post last year!)
