On Tuesday, former ballerina Mihoko Kiyokawa will open up her French-Japanese fusion restaurant named 21 Grams at 16 West 22nd Street in the Flatiron, according to the New York Times. Of first note, the name refers to the supposed weight of the human soul.

Heading the kitchen is Chef Robert Rubba (Chizakaya in Chicago, CrossBar) and the menu reportedly will take the format of either 2-course ($75) or 3-course ($95) seasonal menus plus a 9-course tasting menu ($150). There will also be a sushi bar. The Times also reports that Mihoko will host a group at a chef’s table every night.
