Word is in that the space at 220 5th Avenue (at 26th Street) on the northwest corner of Madison Square Park will become the Belgian Beer Cafe Nomad. The location is perfectly situated right off of the park and at the intersection of the Flatiron and NoMad.

The restaurant will feature contemporary Belgian food and over 50 Belgian beers on tap and in bottles including standards like Stella, Chimay and Duvel, but also Belgian craft brewers like De Dool and The Musketeers. It will be two-stories, with 225 seats, and have a beer sommelier to help guide you through the beer menu.

The interiors will be done by Belgian design team Creneau International, with elements including painted cement tiles from old Belgium schools and homes, antiques found at Belgian flea markets, brass trim and marble.

Target open date is mid-late June. More to come as we get it!
