Bo’s Kitchen & Bar Room has opened at 6 West 24th Street (between 5th and 6th Avenue) next to Eataly and just west of Madison Square Park. The space used to be the home of Ottimo Restaurant, but now serves up New Orleans’s and NYC fusion cuisine. What does that mean exactly? Well the menu includes dishes like Split Pea Fried Catfish, Spicy Wild Gulf Shrimp Fra Diavolo, Mashed Smoked Potatoes with Praline Bacon, Crispy Alligator, and Roasted Montauk Oysters. See the full dinner menu at http://bosrestaurant.com/food-drinks/dinner. They also have a nice looking bar menu of specialty cocktails, beer and wines by the glass.

It’s owned by the people behind Crave Fishbar and Montauk’s South Edison. Chef Partner Todd Mitgang, Executive Chef Alex Priani, Chef de Cuisine Nikhil Khosla, Executive Pastry Chef Frank Fuschetto, and GM Ben Cramer are running the show.

The MadParkNews team has not tried out the food yet but will report back to the neighborhood when we do. You can book a reservation at http://bosrestaurant.com/reservations.
