Flatiron Finds: Blue Dog Cafe

Due west of Madison Square Park near 6th (it’s small and easy to walk past), Blue Dog Cafe (101 W 25th St) serves up delicious sandwiches, coffee and tea drinks, as well as a replica of the infamous Hostess Cupcake. Favorites include the daily salads, the BLT, and the turkey cubano.
The waits can be long and the prices a touch higher than other takeaway lunch spots, but Yelpers tend to agree it’s worth the wait.
