general assembly frontWhen Hurricane Club (aka Hurricane Steak & Sushi) closed in December, they promised a new restaurant would take over the space this spring, and it has.

Not to be confused with the tech campus of the same name just down the street, General Assembly (360 Park Avenue South at 26th Street) the restaurant opened this month with European-inspired dishes prepped on a market-driven-grill. It’s from the same people behind Quality Meats and Park Avenue, and Craig Koketsu is the chef.
