We missed their opening in July, but Incognito Bistro (30 West 18th Street between 5th and 6th Avenue) has been serving up an Italian menu of fish, meats, pizza, and pasta for the last 6 months and will be hosting ‘Burn’s Night’ on January 25th.

Robert Burns is Scotland’s most famous poet and a national hero, and even has a statue in Central Park. So why is an Italian restaurant honoring Burns? Chef /co-Owner Paolo Montana is of Scottish Italian heritage.

The special one-night tasting menu includes traditional Scottish dishes like Haggis, as well as Scottish Salmon and of course a toast of Whiskey (plus soup, dessert, coffee, and more) all for $65 per person. See the full menu to the left (Click to view)

You can even wear a Kilt.

And here is the regular Incognito menu if you miss Burn’s Night.
