The NY Post reports that the popular Parisian chicken rotisserie Le Coq Rico will open in the Flatiron District at 32 East 20th Street, between Park Avenue South and Broadway.
If it sounds like a fast food chain, it’s not. The Paris menu features items such as Seared duck foie gras radish & Granny Smith apples, Hearts & fried chicken livers with fried wings and cromesquis Spice, egg dishes and of course full whole rotisserie poultry dinners. It’s the creation of Chef Antoine Westermann and this is his first Le Coq Rico in the United States.
Interestingly, it’s 1/2 a block away from another Paris import, the boulangerie Eric Keyser. No word yet on when Le Coq Rico will open.French rotisserie Le Coq Rico to open in the Flatiron District,
