mad sq eats spring 2013The popular Madison Square Eats food stands will be back up on Friday, May 2nd and run until May 31st. It’s open every day from 11am-9pm, for lunch and dinner (or an afternoon snack). There are 7 newcomers this year, from Aldea’s George Mendez stand 100 Sardines, to caterer Brooklyn Oyster Party’s stand, to the Southeast Asian inspired Pig & Khao, to Japanese inspires Mexican street food by Takumi Taco, to vegetarian gluten free food from Two Tablespoons and neighborhood spot L&W Oyster.

Each stand typically serves up a small menu of favorites from their restaurant or bakery, with most items priced at around $8-9. For the most part everything is made on location, so it is fresh and flavorful. Most of the old favorites are returning, and there are a few new stands this time around.

We will post the menus as soon as we collect them, but until then here is the vendor list:
