Mira Sushi is now open in the Flatiron at 46 West 22nd Street (between 5th & 6th Avenues) in the old Silk Rd Tavern spot. They have a diverse menu of not just sushi, but lots of small and large dishes, plus rice bowls and noodles. Definitely take a look at the menu as it covers from sushi to bi bim bap, to donburi to crispy pork belly to spicy wontons – it’s kind of amazing one kitchen prepares creative dishes from all over Asia.

It looks like executive chef is Brian Tsao, formerly of Liang’s in Forest Hills.

We have not been there yet but will report back when we do try Mira.

They are open for lunch and dinner and also deliver through Seamless (By the way, it looks like Seamless is currently offering 15% off your first order from Mira)

They have some pretty well-priced sushi and sashimi lunch specials as well that you could have delivered.
