Greek spot Parea (36 East 20th Street between Broadway and Park Avenue South) has undergone some major changes, the first of which is the name. Parea is now Parea Prime, a steakhouse featuring USDA Prime steaks hand selected from the Pat LaFrieda Himalayan Salt Room. You can still get some of your Greek favorites at Parea Prime, but the emphasis now is steak (and a raw bar). The owners are the same, but the new GM is Jean Christophe Villard (Bobby Vans, Nick & Stefs, Club A Steakhouse) and the Executive Chef is Ioannis Benetos. The interiors have also been renovated.
