We hear there will be a soft opening on Saturday night, but officially the rooftop restaurant at the Nomad Hotel (1170 Broadway at 28th Street) will open on Monday, June 11th. They will serve dinner every night this summer weather permitting, featuring a 5-course tasting menu of rustic summer fare created by celebrated Chef Daniel Humm (Eleven Madison Park, The Nomad). The rooftop itself has views of the Empitre State Building, the Flatiron district and the beautiful cupola on the roof itself.

Because it is an open rooftop that depends on that day’s weather, they are using a unique reservation system. Instead of booking in advance, they will sell tickets each day for that night for $125 per person (up to 6 guests). The Cupola will be also available for parties of 8 guests. To buy tickets, you will go to www.thenomadrooftop.com.

The rooftop restaurant follows the March opening of the Nomad Restaurant inside the hotel.
