We all know the Nomad Restaurant (1170 Broadway at 28th Street) opened to the public Monday, March 26th, but the Nomad Hotel is also now open for reservations (there are even rooms open tonight). You can even make reservations now at www.thenomadhotel.com/#/reservations/rooms.

From the website, it looks like rooms start at $295/night for the opening, but the normal starting price seems to be $325/night. For that you get a Classic room, which is a “King bedroom with interior views – most overlooking the atrium. Walk-in shower. Free high-speed wireless internet, flat screen HD TV, writing desk, most with club chair, iHome docking station and minibar. 340 sq ft”. For $385 (regular rate $415) you can get a Grande room, which is an “Extra-large King bedroom with bright city views. Walk-in shower, free standing clawfoot bathtub and separate water closet. Free high-speed wireless internet, flat screen HD TV, writing desk, iHome docking station, minibar. 400 sq ft”. The 168 rooms feature interiors designed by Jacques Garcia and the building itself is a beautiful Beaux-Arts building from the turn of the last century.

And of course the Nomad restaurant within the hotel is the creation of Eleven Madison Park Executive Chef  Daniel Humm and General Manager Will Guidara.

The Nomad is the third new boutique hotel to go in on the Broadway stretch from 26th Street to 29th Street just north of Madison Square Park, with the Ace Hotel at 29th and Broadway, and the Flatiron Hotel at 26th and Broadway.
