Spring cleaning? Recycle your eWaste (old computer equipment, phones, dvd players, etc) on Saturday, April 6th at Tekserve
Do some spring cleaning and help the environment! On Saturday, April 6th at Tekserve (119 West 23rd Street, between 6th and 7th Avenue), they are having another eWaste Recycling Event, where you can safely recycle old electronic equipment such as computers, printers, monitors, cell phones, radios, DVD players and more. Stop by between 10am-4pm. The event is hosted in conjunction with the Lower East Side Ecology Center.
We know you have electronic junk sitting around your home or office. Bring it by Tekserve so that it can be safely recycled rather than dumped into landfill or incinerators where it could pollute land, water, and air. There is even a law in the State of New York (NYS Electronic Equipment Recycling and Reuse Act) which requires manufacturers to provide free and convenient recycling of electronic waste, so take advantage of a great opportunity to recycle.
Can’t make it on April 6th? There are other recycling locations on different dates. See all the dates and locations at http://www.tekserve.com/recycling.
