We already know it’s a great place to live regardless of marital status, but the Gramercy / Flatiron neighborhoods were just named as the Best Place for Singles to Live in New York City by the New York Daily News.

Gramercy / Flatiron beat out the East Village in 2nd place, followed by Hunters Point (Long Island City), followed by Wall Street, BAM, Williamsburg, and Hell’s Kitchen.

The factors that influenced the ratings were “numbers of restaurants, bars, nightclubs, health clubs, culture, the population of young people in the area, median age and crime figures”.
