The huge NYC Halloween Parade runs up 6th Avenue again on Thursday October 31st, going from Spring Street to just past 16th-18th Street.

It goes from about 7pm-11pm and is one of the biggest parades in New York City and anyone can join as long as you are in costume. Learn more about how to participate at www.halloween-nyc.com/participate.php. There is even a costume contest.

This year the theme is Revival.  (You may recall it was cancelled last year due to Hurricane Sandy).

If you can’t attend or particpate int he parade you can always watch it on tv (NY1 and KPIX).

The Parade typically draws more than 50,000 costumed participants and millions of viewers live and on tv. 53 bands are signed on for this year.

If you haven’t been, it’s a wild event.
