Just East of Madison Square Park at the Baruch College’s ARC Arena (55 Lexington Avenue at 24th Street), there is some awesome summer league basketball being played as part of the Nike Pro City League. Tuesday, the Oklahoma City Thunder’s Kevin Durant scored 41 against a team lead by the Chicago Bull’s John Lucas III, who scored 60 in the game. Durant plays on the summer league team, “The Franchise” and Lucas plays on the summer league team BigAppleBasketball.

Next games are today (Thursday August 4th) featuring the  Uptowners vs Prime Time (6:30 pm) and then Dyckman/NYAC vs United Brooklyn (8:30 pm).
