Hoops mania is about to begin again with March Madness upon us (play-ins start tonight!). See the schedule at www.ncaa.com/march-madness. Where can you watch your favorite teams and track your tourney bracket? Here are some spots in the Madison Square Park and Flatiron areas:

  • Bounce Sporting Club (55 West 21st Street between 5th and 6th Avenue): It  features 4000 square feet of space to watch 30 HD TVs for game watching. They also have a full bar with drinks from mixologist Charlotte Voisey, and restaurant menu with gourmet burgers, sliders, wings, and more.
  • Chelsea Manor (138 West 25th Street between 6th an 7th Avenue): 84 inch projection plus 13 Plasma tvs, full dinner and bar menu and happy hour specials.
  • Dewey’s Flatiron (210 5th Avenue at 25th Street): 17 HDTVs, 24 beers on tap and a full menu of food.
  • Duke’s (99 East 19th Street at Park): Every game available is on, and they will even turn up volume for specific games for reserved tables. Plus $3 jello shots, $8 bomber shots and a full menu. Call 212-260-2922 for more info.
  • 40/40 Club (6 West 25th Street at Broadway): Multi-million dollar renovation was just finished and the place is like a palace for viewing sports. Call (212) 832-4040 for more info.
  • Rogue (757 6th Avenue between 25th/26th): 8 flat screen plasma TV’s, 12 beers on tap, and a full menu. Call 212-242-6434 for more info.
  • Shorty’s Authentic Philly Steaks & Sandwiches (66 Madison between 27th and 28th streets): Dozens of flat screens plus steak sandwiches, chicken steak sandwiches and roast pork and chicken cutlet sandwiches, all Philly style. And throughout the entire tourney, they are offering 4 beers from Brooklyn brewery Sixpoint for only $5 each.
  • Slate (54 West 21st Street): Modern pool hall with dozens of TVs.
