Here is the Almond dinner menu.

Almond pastrami sandwich at Madison Square Eats

Almond (12 East 22nd Street) also has a stand up at the 2011 Fall Madison Square Eats food stands near Madison Square Park and I could pass the hot pastrami sandwich only so many times before trying it. It’s a bit different take than a typical deli pastrami, but it works well. The pastrami is carved (no cheap sandwich meat here) and it’s on an onion roll with mustard seeds, pickles, and the ‘au jus’ that keeps it moist. Requires napkins but worth it.

Also on the menu is a very good looking Moroccan Meatball Hero ($8), JB’s Jalepeno & Cheddar Brat ($8), Marinated Octopus ($8), House smoked almonds to go.

Madison Square Eats is hosted by the Madison Square Park Conservancy and serves food daily from 11am-9pm until October 21st in the Worth Square area just west of Madison Square Park (@ 24th and 5th Avenue).

Here are the Madison Square Eats Menus from almost every stand!
