This coming September 22nd-25th, The Breslin Restaurant (20 west 29th street between 5th Avenue and Broadway) at the Ace Hotel is turning out the lights each night for guests to try dining in the dark.

Diners will be served a 3-course menu in total darkness, so you can rely on your other senses to perceive as you eat your food. We can only imagine your sense of smell goes into overdrive in such a situation.

The Breslin Restaurant (20 West 29th Street) at the Ace Hotel did in fact open to the public for a test run breakfast today and will be open for breakfast going forward.

Lunch may follow on Thursday and the first public dinner is slated for Monday according to sources.

The Examiner reports that U2, Kanye, and Clive Owen were all seen a few days back at the Breslin Bar (ground floor of the Ace Hotel on 29th). While the Ace Hotel and Breslin Bar opened this summer, the much anticipated Breslin Restaurant is set to open later this month.
