The popular Paris boulangerie Eric Kayser is now open in the Flatiron at 921 Broadway (between 21st and 22nd Street) serving up pain au chocolat, croissants, Parisien sandwiches, tarts, salads, cakes, cupcakes, breads, and lots of other pastries. They have a 60+ seat cafe, a full coffee bar, and a juice bar.
Interestingly, this location is literally on the same block as a Le Pain Quotidien (931 Broadway), which serves somewhat similar fare. Which will win the hearts of Flatiron locals?
The first Eric Kayser bakery opened in Paris in 1996 at 8 Rue Monge, a few blocks away from Notre Dame.
