The recently re-branded Fashion 26 Hotel (152 West 26th Street between 6th and 7th avenue) was just sold to a real estate investment firm for $120 million, reports the Real Deal.
You may recall that the hotel opened under its current name in April of this year.
According to HotelChatter, after several delays the Fashion 26 Hotel opens today in the Flatiron/Chelsea (152 West 26th Street). Part of the Wyndham Hotel group, Fashion 26 is clearly contemporary in its design and features the restaurant Rare Bar and Grill at the ground level and Rare View, a lounge on the rooftop.
One of the more interesting twists to the Fashion 26 is their daily Best Dressed Guest award which gets you a prize of some sort and a mention on their blog.
