Bar Breton (254 5th Avenue): $4 beer, $6 wine, $6 mixed drinks. Monday to Friday 4-7pm.

Bar Stuzzichini (928 Broadway): Receive a complimentary order of Stuzzichini (an appetizer) with the purchase of a draft beer, specialty cocktail or quartino of wine.

Ben & Jack’s Steakhouse (255 5th Avenue): Glass of wine (6.50), beer (from $4.95) and cocktails ($7.50), martini ($8.50). Daily from 4-7pm.

Birch Coffee (7 East 27th Street): House red and white wine are $5 each, PBRs are $2.50 and drafts are $5. 7 days a week from 5 pm to close.

Gstaad (43 West 26th Street): $2 off all call drinks, $1 off all bottled beers. Monday – Friday 5pm – 7pm

The Hairy Monk (337 3rd Avenue @25th Street): $2.50 Bud Light/Coors Light/Miller Lite. $1 off all other drinks. 11am-7pm daily.

Hill Country Barbecue Market (30 W. 26th Street): $5 Well Drinks, $2 Well Shots, $5 Margaritas, a Bucket of Lone Star for $20, and 2 for 1 PBRs at $4. Daily from 3pm-6pm and 10pm-1am. Also every Tuesday, 2 for 1 Specialty Cocktails from 5pm-10pm. And Wednesdays Pitchers of Margaritas and Sangria are $20, and Cosmos, Lemon Drops, Fresh Watermelon Martinis, and Chocolate Cherry Martini are $5.

Hog Pit: $1.00 drinks from 5 pm to 8 pm daily! $5.00 Margaritas on Wednesday Ladies Night, $2.00 Jello Shots all the time.

John Dory Oyster Bar (1196 Broadway @29th Street in the Ace Hotel): $15 for six oysters and a glass of sparkling Cava or a John Dory Oyster Stout. 5-7pm and midnight-2am every day.

Les Halles (411 Park Avenue South): Every Monday, 50 wines, reduced by 50%.

Live Bait (14 East 23rd Street): $5 for a half dozen oysters or peel and eat shrimp or clams. $5 wine or pints of beer. From 4-6:30pm daily.

Pranna (79 Madison Avenue @ 28th Street): $5 Draught Beer + Naan, $6 Bottle Beer, $7 Red/White Wine, $8 Featured Signature Cocktail, $9 Well Drinks (All-Night). 4pm – 8pm daily.

PS 450 (450 Park Avenue South): Absolut Vodka drinks, pinot grigio and cocktails from $4-$7. Daily from 4-8pm.

Rodeo bar (375 3rd Avenue): $6.00 Lime and Strawberry Margarita’s, $4.00 Draft Beer Specials, and $4.00 wine specials. Recession Special (A can of PBR and shot of House Whiskey) for $ 7.00 all the time. Daily from from 4pm till 9pm.

San Rocco (37 West 24th Street): A selection of free hors d’oeuvres from 6-8pm. Drinks are the same price.

Slate (54 West 21st street): $4 domestic beers and well drinks, $5 wine, $6 house martinis. Weekdays from 5-8pm. Also 12-3pm weekedays, free lunch with purchase an hour of pool for $8.

Sushi Samba (245 Park Avenue South): Sake and wine $8; Sapporo and Sapporo light $5; Mojitos, Caipirinha, Pisco, Chcumber all $8. Plates to share for $8 including Kobe Sliders, Rock Shrimp Tempura, 4-piece Sushi Nigiri (tuna, salmon, hamachi, shrimp) and more. Sunday through Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m.

Wined Up (913 Broadway): $7 red and white wine each night from 5-7pm.

Last night was the Flatiron Chefs event in Madison Square Park, which raises loads of money to support the upkeep of and free programs in Madison Square Park . The event featured 26 of the best chefs and restaurants in the neighborhood serving up signature tastes of some amazing food. You pretty much could not go wrong with any of the food and it’s astounding to think that all of these restaurants rival the best food in the world, and they are within blocks of the Madison Square Park neighborhood. It was hosted by the Madison Square Park Conservancy. Here are some mouth-watering images from the event.

Superbowl Sunday roundup for the Flatiron and Madison Square Park areas

Superbowl Sunday is here, and these are the places in the Flatiron and Madison Square Park that have sent in their Superbowl viewing offerings:

* Dewey’s Flatiron (210 5th Avenue): Starts at noon on Sunday with giveaways and drink specials including $4 well drinks, $4 bud light draft, and $15 pitchers of Sam Adams plus a full menu with such Superbowl necessities as boneless buffalo wings, fries, onion rings, and chicken strips. Call 212-685-7781 for details.
* 40/40 Club (6 West 25th Street): The game will be on dozens of screens. Table for 4 including 2 buckets of beer, one 40/40 food Platter, plus peanuts, pretzels, chips and salsa and a gift bag for $300 (for the table of 4). Reserve at http://the4040club.com/default.aspx.
* Hill Country (30 West 26th): The game will be on the big screens on both floors, with a few special superbowl menu items including The First Down ($30, Feeds 1-2 people with BBQ Chicken Wings w/ Butter Milk Ranch, Nachos smothered in Creamy Longhorn Cheddar Cheese, Texas Chili, Jalapeños, Pico de Gallo & served w/ Sour Cream and 2 Kreuz Market Sausages (1 Original & 1 Jalapeño Cheese). * The Ainsworth (122 West 26 street): Word is the Ainsworth will feature the band the Sore Losers playing commercial breaks. No cover.
