Limelight space to be re-born as Limelight MarketPlace

According to the New York Post, the infamous Limelight club space (most recently called Avalon) at 6th Avenue and 20th Street, is slated to become the Limelight Marketplace this year, with 80 ‘high-end’ shops and possibly a restaurant. Originally a church built in the mid-1800’s, the space became a club over the last few decades plagued by drugs and even was the stomping grounds of the killer and victim of a notorious murder.
