The Madison Square Park Conservancy kid’s programming continues today with the Bari Koral Family Rock Band from 10:30am-11:30am, followed by an Explore session and then Art in the Park. See the full schedule at www.madisonsquarepark.org/kids

Spring Kids Fest in Madison Square Park is today, Saturday June 4th

If you have kids, this Saturday (June 4th) from 10:30am to 1:30pm) is Spring Kids Fest 2011 in Madison Square Park. It’s a FREE event that includes live music, story readings, arts and crafts, face painting and free snacks. It’s hosted by the Madison Square Park Conservancy.

Joanie Leeds and the Nightlights and Rachel Lipson and the Tip Top Band with the Blue Balloon Choir will both be performing, plus the Karma Kids Yoga, Appleseeds, Rubin Museum of Art, and the Museum of Mathematics will be there. Here is the schedule:

10:30am-1:30pm: Storytime Yoga in the Books Tent (it runs throughout the event)
10:30am-10:45am: Cooking demo with Taste Buds in the Books Tent
10:30am-11am: Songs for Seeds at the Reflecting Pool
11am-11:30am: Joanie Leeds and the Nightlights on the Music Stage
11:30am-11:45am: Cooking demo with Taste Buds in the Books Tent
11:30am-noon: Songs for Seeds at the Reflecting Pool
12:00-12:30: Tada! Youth Theater on the Music Stage
12:30-1pm: Songs for Seeds at the Reflecting Pool
12:30-12:45: Cooking demo with Taste Buds in the Books Tent
1pm-1:30pm: Rachel Lipson and the Tip Top Band with the Blue Balloon Choir on the Music Stage

Have kids? Mark your calendars for June 4th (10:30am to 1:30pm) to take them to Spring Kids Fest 2011. It’s a FREE event that takes place right in Madison Square Park, and includes live music, story readings, arts and crafts, face painting and free snacks. It’s hosted by the Madison Square Park Conservancy.
