The Madison Square Music Studio Series kicks off today with live music from Boston based singer-songwriter Catie Curtis.
The show is free and starts at 3pm. Opening up will be folk rock from Mike and Ruthy. Here’s a video of them jamming live in Lake Tahoe.
The Madison Square Music Oval lawn series may be over, but here’s a sneak preview of the Madison Square Park Studio Series which starts Saturday September 11th and goes every Saturday through October 9th. All shows look to start at 3pm. Here is the schedule:

Tonight at 7pm in Madison Square Park, the James Carter Organ Trio play a free concert on the oval lawn as part of the Madison Square Music series.
This should be an awesome night of sax-lead jazz in Madison Square Park.

As part of the Madison Square Music Oval Lawn Series, singer/songwriter David Bromberg will play a free show in Madison Square Park tonight at 7pm with his Quartet.
Word is that bluegrass and country singer Alecia Nugent will be playing live as part of the Madison Square Park music series on July 7th at 6pm.
