Gasland screens tonight at the Ace Hotel (free!)

The free movie screening series continues tonight (Sunday) at the Ace Hotel (20 West 29th Street) with Gasland, a documentary on natural gas drilling and its impact on the environment. While it may sound boring, some of the stories are unbelievable…like a town that can now light the tap water on fire. Surfrider Foundation NYC Chapter and Patagonia are sponsors for this screening. Doors open at 7pm, film starts at 7:30pm at Liberty Hall in the Ace Hotel NYC basement. Free admission.

The American Sleepover screens tonight at the Ace Hotel (free)

The free movie screening series continues this Sunday at the Ace Hotel (20 West 29th Street) with The American Sleepover tonight at7:30pm (doors open at 7pm). Director David Robert Mitchell will be there for a Q&A after the film. RSVP at rsvpliberty@thebreslin.com. The screenings are free and 21+.

“Who took the bomp? Le Tigre on Tour” screens at the Ace Hotel tonight

The free movie screening series continues tonight in Liberty Hall of the Ace Hotel (20 West 29th Street) with “Who took the bomp? Le Tigre on Tour”, a documentary that follows the electronic band Le Tigre on their 2004-2005 tour.

Doors open at 7pm and it starts at 7:30pm. It’s free but 21+.You can RSVP at rsvpliberty@thebreslin.com.

There will be a Q&A after with the director as well as Le Tigre band members Kathleen Hanna and Johanna Fateman.

The free movie screening series continues this Sunday in Liberty Hall at the Ace Hotel (20 West 29th Street) with an early screening of a special sneak preview of Benjamin Heisenberg’s thriller “The Robber”.

Documentary “Flow” at the Ace Hotel this Sunday

The free movie screening series continues this Sunday at the Ace Hotel (20 West 29th Street) with Flow, an award winning documentary about the world’s water crisis. The film was an official selection at Sundance, and won Best Documentary at the Vail Film Festival.
