Last night was the Flatiron Chefs event in Madison Square Park, which raises loads of money to support the upkeep of and free programs in Madison Square Park . The event featured 26 of the best chefs and restaurants in the neighborhood serving up signature tastes of some amazing food. You pretty much could not go wrong with any of the food and it’s astounding to think that all of these restaurants rival the best food in the world, and they are within blocks of the Madison Square Park neighborhood. It was hosted by the Madison Square Park Conservancy. Here are some mouth-watering images from the event.

Valentine’s Day menu at SD26 (19 East 26th Street between 5th and Madison Avenue) features a 4course prix fixe menu plus coffee for $90. San Domenico Restaurant, in its new incarnation as SD26 on Madison Square Park, hosted a pre-opening event tonight (Saturday night).

The Italian standout thrived on Central Park South for 20 years, but will get new life on 26th Street, across the park from heavy hitters Eleven Madison Park, Tabla, and A Voce.

The famed San Domenico Restaurant, previously on Central Park South but coming soon (renamed SD26) to 19 East 26th Street on Madison Square Park, will be one of the restaurants offering bites at the upcoming Flatiron Chefs event Tuesday July 14th in Madison Square Park. The Italian cuisine has been the recipient of outstanding reviews since its opening over 20 years ago. We look forward to having another amazing restaurant choice in the neighborhood!
