MadparkNews finally hit Flatiron ping pong hipster epicenter SPiN (48 East 23rd Street) last night to test our pong skills and check out the scene.

This year, in addition to showing US Open tennis live on the big screen in Madison Square Park from September 3rd-12th, there will also be a food court and a table-tennis tournament.

The food court will feature local restaurants serving food, including Pranna (banh mi sandwiches), SD26 (pizza bianca), and Resto (home-made charcuterie).The ping pong tournaments will be sponsored by SPiN New York.
