Trader Joes to open in Chelsea on Monday
It’s official, Trader Joe’s will open in the Flatiron / Chelsea area on Monday (675 6th Avenue @ 21st street) and will be open daily from 8am-10pm.
This will be a great addition to the neighborhood and may relieve some of the lines at the Union Square Trader Joe’s.
Next up in the neighborhood: Eataly this fall.

The first official signage from the new Trader Joe’s in the Flatiron (675 6th avenue between 21st and 22nd street) has been spotted.
New: Trader Joes coming to the Flatiron area
In a great addition to the area, Trader Joes is apparently going to be opening up a store at 675 6th avenue (between 21st and 22nd street), according to a report by the Observer.
It’s a 40,000+ ft space previously occupied by Barnes and Noble.
